Coaster and Holder Mold Set. Each shape is approximately 4 inches in diameter. You will receive 4 shapes: 2 different floral patterns, a star pattern and a snowflake pattern. Flower molds have parts that can be painted with different epoxies during the initial pour and then filled with sealant. The sunburst pattern has insets that require 2-3 fills if you want to dye it different colors. The snowflake shape has deep insets. The holder will hold 6-8 finished coasters depending on how thick you pour them. I had fun creating with these shapes. I like the 2 forms best. They are a lot of fun to work with and you can make some pretty coasters by painting the first layer different colors. You can make a series of coasters with the same pattern or mix and match. For example, snowflake coasters could be a Christmas set, but since there is only one snowflake, you have to make them one at a time with 8 separate fillings. This set can also be made without painting, simply filling each coaster with colored epoxy and maybe some glitter, making it suitable for beginners too. I estimate you will need 200-250ml of epoxy to make one coaster and 8 coasters. In general, epoxy is interesting to work with for both novice and experienced craftsmen.
