I have a 2010 Ford Taurus Limited and after removing the glove box door it was easy to remove the door to install this replacement cabin air filter. As I don't remember when it was last changed I used a black marker and marked the current date on the front. I also printed a dated Dymo label and put it in the glove box. If you've ever heard a "clicking noise" under the right side of your Ford's dashboard like I did, it's time to replace the faulty Motorcraft YH-1779 Motor Assy used in the vehicle. Very common on Ford (note the correct replacement number on your vehicle) which actuates the heater/AC mixer door. cheap and easy to install!
