This fastener works great. As long as you don't need to attach to 2 2x6 or 2x8 support boards. Good luck then! Since the clip wings on the fastener are wide enough for a single backing board (and the actual metal clip is so narrow that it cannot be used individually to fasten two adjacent board ends), you'll have to snap off the clip wings and try to hope that the Clasp stays in place while you fasten it. hard work! The Fiburon and Trek bindings are much better in this situation as the binding is much wider where it holds the board (Fiburon even includes some wider bindings in its packaging specifically for adjacent deckboards) and you don't have to break those and remove Clamp wings if boards are continuous (requires 2 CAMOs) or attach deck to a 2x6 or 2x8 double bar. CAMO really needs to develop a double board clamp to be included in the clamp kit I bought as the time gained with the clamps was lost in having to break the clamp wings and trying to use them without wings I had to do it multiple times!
