Description of 🔧 Enhance Your Deck's Aesthetics with CAMO Edge Clip Hidden Deck Fasteners (900 ct)

EDGE Clips are for 90° grooved deck installations with wood, composite, capped composite, and PVC. One-pass fastening—no partial installation is required. Up to 88% stronger than leading deck board manufacturer's clips in lateral movement tests. Fasten EDGE Clips with the included NEVER-MISS Guide or with the CAMO DRIVE stand-up tool using a drill—do not use an impact driver. 900 count covers approximately 500 square feet (joist spacing of 16 inches); creates a 3/16-inch gap.

Excellent design in building materials

It is necessary to remove the decking boards to fix the tree trunk. The people who assembled it originally used a different system. I saw a YouTube video about this system and how well thought out it is and bought it. It's very well thought out and works pretty fast. I love the clips that hold them to the joists. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Favorite of 3 Used

In a small project we used camouflage edge clips, camouflage edge screws with tool and end fitting with colored screws. We found the edge clips to be the easiest to use and the best looking. Note that we didn't give a thought to the time it took to install. We didn't lay out the whole deck like Camo recommends, we did 2 or 3 boards at a time.

  • Price
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Ok but the metal clip could be a bit wider

I used this on Timbertech decking, it worked fine. Driver Bit they give you streaks easily so be careful. The big box gives you two, the small one gives you one. The only gripe is that sometimes the joints don't meet exactly in the middle of the joist so the clamp is a little tight to grip both boards. In some cases I had to invent something to twist both ends of the connection. Also, be careful not to over-tighten; On a warm day, composite decking can become quite soft. My joists were 4x6 so I

I love how easy they were to use, but

I really think these new deck mounts are light years bigger than they were. It's amazing how easy it is to use. However, I only have a few complaints. First they give you some bits because they tend to go bad quickly and then you remove the screw head. You need to make a bed out of a more durable piece of metal. Second, the wings attaching both boards are not that long. Just to be safe I wish they were a little longer to make sure everything is secure. The instructions are quite interesting…

Neat clasp with one big flaw!

This fastener works great. As long as you don't need to attach to 2 2x6 or 2x8 support boards. Good luck then! Since the clip wings on the fastener are wide enough for a single backing board (and the actual metal clip is so narrow that it cannot be used individually to fasten two adjacent board ends), you'll have to snap off the clip wings and try to hope that the Clasp stays in place while you fasten it. hard work! The Fiburon and Trek bindings are much better in this situation as the binding…

Not used, major design flaws, 4/21 update, broken screws

We used these clips to install a large deck 1X6 Ipe. This deck is difficult to lay because the wood is three times harder than a baseball bat and very difficult to flatten. The clip didn't help. The protrusions on either side are half the size of my fingernail, which is much smaller than competing products. Does it make sense? Because all the difficulties we had were due to tabs that were too small. First, when laying firewood, they do not stay in place. The 18'-0" board has (14) clips on a 16"
