Review on Cable Matters DisplayPort Eyefinity Technology by Lance Harrison

Purchased this in a hurry having previously purchased an ambiguously described DisplayPort to DVI cable (another brand) which turned out to be passive. That does not work. He returns to Revain. Luckily, the Cable Matters active adapter works great with the CalDigit TS3 Plus to connect an old display with a DVI-D input. I already had a decent Belkin DVI cable to connect the adapter to the display. Brief panic while waiting for the display to turn on (didn't happen until the login screen didn't wake up in macOS High Sierra (10.13.) until more OS loaded. No noticeable difference in video output between HDMI on Mac Mini (2011) and TS3 Plus via Cable Matters Adapter I have 2 identical displays so it's really easy to say I'm glad it works I'm glad it got here quickly everyone around is happy I have a few too Cable Matters XLR cables and they are solid and reliable too, they are now at the top of my list for getting new cables.
