Buying a Kohler faucet means you're guaranteed quality, but that can come at a hefty price tag. Firstly, this is the starting price of the sticker, which can be several times higher than the price of a similar product. But even more important and insidious is the fact that after the initial purchase, you are now forced to buy genuine Kohler parts. This braided hose set seems pretty pricey for a three foot hose, but hey. If you need that, pay through your nose. What might surprise you is when you receive the hose and find that it doesn't come with a strainer gasket (the dime that fits between the faucet's "telephone" and the hose), and without it, the hose will leak. Surprisingly, a similar hose kit (P/N 1075256-CP) with a newer quick disconnect includes this item. Good luck finding a Kohler screen gasket like this elsewhere.
