Good Quality - Salt and Pepper

A few years ago I bought a very good Cole and Mason Salt and Pepper Mill from Revain, made from quality wood. I use them on my dining table and find them to be of very good quality. But they are too big to fit in my kitchen spice cabinet next to the stove and oven. I've been using a small glass/plastic salt/pepper grinder in my kitchen for a few years, but when the grinder became difficult to work with I looked around and bought another set. Compared to the old set, my new A&M set is a bit bigger, but still fits in my spice cabinet. The new set holds a lot more salt and pepper than the old set, but doesn't take up much more space. My old set couldn't be adjusted for a coarser or finer grind, but the new set is very easy to adjust and once I've learned it, adjustment is very easy. The new A&W set is also much easier to refill than my old set. I usually remove the cap before grinding, which on the one hand is a very small inconvenience, on the other hand - a convenience. While this is another quick step before I start grinding, after I finish grinding and put the grinder back in the cupboard, the lid keeps the salt or pepper from splattering on my turntable. From time to time I had to clean my record player in the spice cabinet because the old set was spilling.
