pepper mill was damaged, adjustable as said, very good, salt mill is as good as pepper mill. I had some aged sea salt in a glass bottle that was given to me at a house party. The bottle was for me until I saw this chopper set. What a discovery, a salt mill and what a beautiful work it is almost as big as dust. Now I see how I can actually push my way through life. The inner plastic ring fell off repeatedly causing the grinder to fail. As a result, he refused to replace the ring on the salt shaker, and the peppercorn seemed to last a little longer. But today the entire plastic inner support failed and broke off - just over a year after purchase. It's too late to return. But be careful with the buyer. These are not very well made.

Rubbish! In fact I just displayed it in my kitchen - saved the peppercorns when my daily routine was empty last week - used it about 4 times and it basically fell apart! mill broken! Very upset that I didn't use it when I first got it - then I could have returned it! Well they sent me a new one - which was impressive because I've had it for a while even though I've used it before. I use a new one every day and this one seems fine. A good sequel too.

I was skeptical about the ceramic coffee grinder at first but it turns out it works great! For salt, I use Himalayan rock salt and black pepper. After a few months of use, the pepper mill still works great, but the salt mill is broken. Since salt is a chemical base, the corrosive properties have blocked a small portion of the threads in the center to adjust the grind and lock into place. Now I only have one grinder as a tiny part is not corrosion resistant.

I've been using these for about a month and they are great for my use. I would give it an overall rating of 4.5/5 for the money. Pros: - Doesn't require much effort to grind (good for people with sore hands) - Grinds well, especially peppercorns and the like! - Decent price.
