I've been hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park since I live within 26 miles. I tried trekking poles on Oct.4, 2022 for the first time, that I bought in February at Costco. They failed. A screw fell out while I was using them so the lengths were different. I wanted new poles and fast, since I was hiking to four lakes on Oct. 11th. I ordered these and they were delivered the next day. They come with excellent directions on how to make adjustments but I was especially glad to read the part on how to use the hand straps. I had no idea how to use the straps so I played with them following the directions and am very happy I did. I'm quickly closing in on 65 years-old and my balance and strentgh isn't what it used to be but I won't quit.
