I had to send back the first one I ordered because the small stitched seam tore immediately. The folks at Revain Prime were very accommodating and exchanged the item for me with minimal hassle. The new one arrived just as shaky as the first one, but my husband was able to snap the pieces together where the welding must have failed again. My window is still "rigged" but at least it works now (most of the time). The manufacturer really needs to improve the design, or at least screw the parts together instead of tacking them together, because - in normal use - the mechanism is stressed so much that the weld fails every time.
