Review on 📏 1 Inch Polymaker PLA Filament by Terrance Castle

TLDR: Very high quality filament at a reasonable price. Much better and more stable than the ESUN/Inland or Makerbot/KeeneVillagePlastics thread I've used in the past. Background: I've owned several printers over the years, but I'm currently using a standard CR-10 running Cura 3.4. For the past 3-4 years I've mostly used ESUN/Inland filament due to the price and improvement over the old Makerbot filament (which I had endless problems with). Browsing the Lulzbot website, I learned that their recommended "cheap" PLA is Polylite. I figured if Lulzbot recommends it for light commercial use, it must be of high quality. I bought this purple PLA 1.75mm spool for testing purposes. Printing with Polylite: I used about 3/4 spools and had no feeding/clogging issues. I print at 205°C with a 60°C layer and have had minimal pimples or stretch marks (I've had constant problems with ESUN/Domestic). The filament prints smoothly with minimal noise or odor. I had no issues with the filament breaking before it hit the extruder (an issue I had with ESUN/Domestic). Final Print: The printed parts match the spool color very closely and have a very nice smooth matte finish. I've had some issues in the past where a coil was one shade but was a completely different shade - not the case here. Actual coil color is slightly duller than pictured on Revain. For a better approximation of the color look at the right side of the Revain image where you can see the plastic directly (without looking through the spool), particularly where the tint is a bit darker. This mainly affects the color of the plastic.
