Review on 🍲 50-Pack TOPtoper 33 Oz Large Paper Bowls - Compostable, Biodegradable, Leakproof, Microwave Safe - Disposable Bowls Bulk for Hot or Cold Use (33 OZ) by Patrick Clifton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No real flaws on quality disposable bowls, can microwave, hold liquid without leaking, good price.

If you want to have a flaw, its you can't really reuse these they are disposable. The have a big advantage over most of the disposable bowls I have for one the size. Most of my other bowls, made of styrofome or card stock are just too small, I rarely use for much more than fruit, or maybe small dinner salad. Not so here, these are huge you can do your cheap 20 cent ramen noodles, beef stew, most soups as well as cold dishes a significant size salad for instance. The price runs about 35 cents per in quantity of 70 which is good when you consider the quality. Rarely have I ever thought the need called for a paper bowl when dishing out stews, soups and other things. It makes a great banana split bowel with five scoops of ice cream, chocolate syrup, pineapple nuts, and lots of whipped cream not to mention the banana and the cherry on top.Because they are very deep a lot of things that you might cram into a small bowl are contained and so you won't spill them on you. Consider this how many company functions have you gone from that used more than plates or cups, you rarely see soup, stew, or other items because there's rarely a decent bowl available. They also do a fairly good job for something like popcorn. I don't mean cooking it, do that in the bag or air popper, but these hold a lot, and you can easily fill two bowls with one typical bag of micorwave corn.I boiled water for about an hour in one of these and saw little sign of leaking, but I don't recommend this, I knew enough to use intermittent or reduced power modes after the water gets hot. You may or may not have ever experienced it, but I once heated water to a rapid boil in a large Pyrex measuring pitcher. When I opened the door a huge blast of steam was released. What happened was sublimation the water was so hot all of it was near the gas point. In an instant the water all turned to steam. I's a good thing I'm not really tall or I might have taken the blast in the face. Don't reuse in the microwave or use dry or the paper can burn, but with normal precautions not much to worry about. Recommended.

Pros
  • Suitable for use in restaurants, cafes or hotels, reducing washing time and electricity costs
Cons
  • Not suitable for stackable storage

Although I question the environmental friendliness of these bowls, they are very good quality. I''ve used these to give out Korean stews and they hold up well.
