About the color: Matches the vendor image. The dyelot I received is a bold color that was consistent on reorder. Changes ever-so-slightly depending on lighting. Outside in the daylight, these are a blueaquamarine. In my daytime lighting, the Pure Aqua look slightly more in the blue spectrum; in my night lighting they tend a tiny bit towards the green spectrum. But that is my lightbulbs. It's a happy color goes with navy, teal and seafoam. Also with white, cream or sand. (water, desert, kids). We purchased for our living room. Workmanship: Hem length was consistent over 6 panels; no pulls, no tears, no pinches, no loops or strings. Straight seams were sewn correctly, with a one inch or so pocket at the hem. Back tabs: really help with forming folds in the drape, distributing weight of the drapes across the rod and in sliding them back easy without stressing the rod. Love Love Love. Blackout: Our drapes are in indirect light so I can't comment, but the interior light is 80% less than no drape at all. At night there is zero penetration from security lights. Insulation: We've had them up about 3 weeks now; the living room is noticeably warmer in the morning over previous thinner curtains so we expect they will work in reverse in 109 degree weather. Noise reduction: Slightly noticeable. But that's our windows. YMMV. Overall, we felt we received a well-made drape, in a fabric and color the family likes, at an honest price, and so we would feel comfortable recommending this product to others.
