Most importantly they work with my iPhone and iPad. Some charging cables are not compatible with Apple phones, but they are compatible. They're covered in fabric, not plastic, so they don't get tangled as easily as other cables. The connectors are pretty sturdy - I'm not sure how long they'll last, but at this price point I think they're reasonably well built. And different sizes are very useful for different places I want to charge my phone or iPad.
