Used this to shield all the cavities in an old Rogue bass guitar I found in a trash bin. The bass played well and had good tone except for the buzz/hum with the tone turned towards the treble. Did the following: 1) Put in the tape as a shield 2) soldered a wire from one cavity to the other 3) checked with a multi-meter making sure that all showed low resistance from one cavity throughout the bass. After all that plugged in the bass and ran tests through an amp with bright on, compression, gain and through it all the hum/buzz was no longer showing. I wish I had taken pictures, however I'm having too much fun playing it to take it apart again.
