Review on 🎢 Enhanced Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO Audiophile Turntable: Carbon Fiber Tonearm, Electronic Speed Selector, and Sumiko Rainier Phono Cartridge (Satin Black) by Joshua Paulson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sleek, modern and amazing sound

This is my third turntable since I started listening to vinyl in 2005. From Crosley playing dollar records to Technics SL-D2 which was a workhorse but ultimately I wanted to hack into high-end audio equipment. Is $500 a lot of money? For most people I'd say yes, especially since you'll need an amp or receiver, speakers, etc. if you don't already have them. But I've spent a lot of time reading reviews and the best of them and looking at suggestions on YouTube and passed, this is my favorite hi-fi intro. It's slim and not cheap, everything feels and looks premium. It's just nice to take your arm and drive across the plate. Of course, it's not automatic, but if you're worried about leaving, you can just invest in a $40 Q-Up. I chose glossy white and it's so glossy and modern. It has some weight, but it's not brick, the shell feels solid and solid. Attaching the strap was pretty darn easy and of course there's a button to switch between the 33rd and 45th, but you'll have to switch straps if you prefer the 78th and I don't. Comes with US plugs and two more I believe. European and something else. So if you need to make an international move, you can do that and take it with you. I'm also very happy with the Sumiko cartridge, of course I still run it but no problem and I'm glad I didn't have to invest in a car. I think it's going to be a very long time, I couldn't be happier. It took a while for delivery. It was raining non stop here and Insont knew if that was why they were delaying delivery on purpose but I was so happy as I was beyond paranoid that it would be destroyed. Upon opening it I found that it was packaged so well that I didn't have to worry. There is a Revain outer box and a 3rd party box with the product's name inside and custom styrofoam to contain the disassembled unit and ship it safely. It was easy to put all the pieces together with their instructions but I really need help, I found a couple of YouTube videos that walk you through this step by step. Works great with my speakers and receiver. You won't regret it and if you do you can return it or he will sell it on eBay, they retain their value as long as they are in good condition. Save the box so you can return it to the factory for repair or resale.
