Review on πŸ”§ Lincoln 1134 Extra Heavy Duty Pistol Grip Grease Gun - Premium Features and Versatile Extensions for Optimal Lubrication by Patrick Burton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For a complete novice in lubricants it CAN be a challenge

I've been using pneumatic grease guns for a while. Hit and miss the dirt road. I reverted to a manual gun because I felt resistance when lubricating a high priced ball joint kit that hydraulically pulls out the seals voids the lifetime warranty. 1.) High quality emotion gun. Difficult. The grip is strong and without play. 2.) clutch. Spring. For someone completely new to lubrication, this CAN be a problem. You have WAY overtightened the knurled adjuster above the collet. I had to use a vise and some force to break it. Anyone with even the slightest experience of using a grease gun should be aware that the collar must be accessible for adjustment before attempting to attach it to a Zerk. Looks like a quality clutch, but it certainly isn't from Lincoln's end. 3.) Prime? The fastest prime I've ever had on a gun. Insert a new Tube RL CV2, screw in the tube, loosen the plunger, pump the nipple a few turns until you can no longer hear the crackle of air escaping with lube, close and bingo. Obtain.
