Review on PQYRACING Rear Spoiler Wing Stabilizer Kit for 04-07 Subaru STI - Enhanced Support, Stiffi Style with PQY Logo by Gary Reed

This was a great cosmetic mod to improve the look of my car. I have a 2005 Sti and didn't want to spend $60 on a piece of branded plastic when these guys can give you 4 for less. I was nervous as only one person with the 02-07 fender has a photo of it on their car so I'm adding my experience to the list as I'm happy with this purchase. Supplied with 3M VHB double-sided tape. If you're making 4 like me, you'll need duct tape. For the middle two, I think I put one strip of tape on the bottom and two strips on the top. For the outer two, I made 2 strips at the bottom and 3 at the top. Perrin's installation instructions say to call if you need to add more than 2 straps due to gaps, but I figured I'd lose some tape at best, or $50 if I lost all 4 stabilizers. After that, I pressed the top of the wing for about 20 seconds. When I was done I put a large towel bag on top and added some pool filter sand for weight, of course you can use whatever suits you. Left it on for about an hour and now they feel pretty solid. I can rock the car with them a bit by pulling on them. I won't tear them down, but they're not going anywhere. It rained the day after installation and almost every day since (I live in Oregon) and they are still fine. In any case, if you only install 1, 2, 3 or 5 stabilizers, you can screw them directly to the fender. If you make 4 you just have to use tape or make your own holes. I decided to just use ribbon and I think it looks amazing! Recommend to anyone who is skeptical about this purchase. Another quick note: if you make 4, don't forget to divide the inside width of the wing (52 inches) by 5 to get even placement and spacing. I did a little research and just wanted to share my knowledge to save time for people like me who try to be very thorough when doing something for the first time. Hope this helps someone!
