I saved $1300 by not installing a factory GPS on my 2015 Honda CRV EXL. So I got myself a Garmin 6 inch Nüvi GPS which works great but is hard to see when using the windshield mount even when I try to lower it in the data window. The sun brushed the screen and it was very uncomfortable. I bought a good sun visor for it first, which helped a bit, but I still wasn't happy, especially with the awkward placement, so we looked for a different type of mount hoping it would help, and these found. The little mount didn't look good when it arrived and I was skeptical. It didn't work in the left or left center vent and was inconvenient due to the wider 6-inch screen. We then tried it in the middle air nozzle on the RIGHT. MARVELOUS! PERFECT LOCATION! It's well secured, the bottom brace fits my dash perfectly and can handle the extra weight of a 6" device, and the GPS rotates easily in all directions on the ball mount. None of the data windows interfere; no more problems with the sun, the cable doesn't hang around the handlebars, so easy to reach, so easy to read and doesn't bother the passenger, also not noticeable from the outside, especially after i've hung my hat on it. I'm happy with everything SO HAPPY I HAVE IT! Thank you Trek and Revain for a fantastic product!
