This is my second U-lock in New York, the second is the smaller Fahgettaboutit U-lock (which is probably more secure than this one). You are ridiculously fat. Before you buy, seriously look at the weight so you know what you need. Get the smallest U-lock that fits your bike. The smaller NY Fahghetaboutit ONLY fits a street tire, a frame and a regular bike rack or meter stand. You don't need space there, it allows you to put a hydraulic jack and break the lock. This larger one is needed for larger tires. I have this for a 700x52c tire on a commuter/trekking city bike. A determined bike thief can eventually get through any lock configuration, but this is probably the best I've seen for slowing them down, or at least sending them to an easier target.
