Review on 🚀 Enhance Your Carburetor Performance with Trans-Dapt 2584 Phenolic Carburetor Spacer by Wayne Laguna

Fits my 1967 Ford 289 perfectly. I wanted to position the PCV hose towards the rear of the carb like a stock hose. I didn't like the way the Holley Avenger carburetors push the PCV forward. The spacer felt nice and flat and I had no issues with leakage. The carb seems to run much cooler with a spacer. My intake valve and valve covers get so hot I can barely touch them for 1 second and now the carb just feels warm. CONS: The universal gasket had excess material and holes I didn't like the way it looked, removed the scissors to take care of it. Unfortunately, the cleats that come with the kit are 3 inches. Seems a bit too much for a 1 inch spacer. The pins protruded at least 2.5 cm or more above the top of the gasket. I ran to my local auto parts store and bought 2.5 inch cleats that seemed to fit perfectly.
