If you're wondering if it's worth buying and worry that 81 blades is overkill, don't. Because it's definitely worth it. Especially since it's a proprietary blade that only fits a specific cutter (aka a Wal-Mart cutter). The blades cut like butter, cardboard, tape, plastic, etc. of any thickness. Hold a sharp edge for a very long time, after 20 drawers I guess you start to notice it becoming dull. But since it's double-edged, the new sharp blade is just a quick blade change, and then you're done! Each small strip (looks like chewing gum) comes with 3 blades each. I've never used more than 3 blades in a busy 8 hour day, so there's no need to bring a case with 81 blades. Just slip a few in your pocket and you're done. Overall I would definitely buy this again. Just like my colleagues. Other notes: These discs fit the Easy Cut 1000 and 2000 models. There is a compartment at the top of the box for discarding the blades.
