The path to high fuel pressure will flood your carburetor so badly your engine will barely start and smoke like crazy. Bought this as a precaution to replace my 30 year old fuel pump which still worked. I rebuilt my 350 a few years ago, the fuel pump was sold out at the time so what was still working was needed. To be on the safe side, buy a new pump at long last. The 30 year old pump is back. Waste of time, money and hassle. They'll cover any damage from that junk fuel pump, I doubt it. I can't trust anyone anymore.
