Review on 🌳 Enhance Your Pet's Outdoor Experience with K&H Pet Products Birchwood Manor by Shaun Schatz

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not protected from atmospheric influences, wind or rain. Or isolated. Good structure to start improving.

Large air gaps along the roofline under eaves and other joints. I taped everything up with duct tape. Then they placed it on a hard outdoor heating pad from K&H Pet Products. Placed a similarly shaped PetSmart Styrofoam cat house inside, removed the bottom padding and stuffed it along one wall (wind wall). Then a K&H soft outer hearing aid inside. Then some puppy training pads because they're easy to replace and keep the inside clean (mostly dirty paws). Then they covered everything with insulating blankets and a moving blanket and wrapped them completely (including the bottom one) in a tarpaulin. The door opening is made of wool and plastic and is weighed down from below. NOW it can withstand -20°C, wind and snow and can still be roasted inside. Wooden walls are very thin in addition to large air gaps. And the floor, the roof. Beautiful and sturdy, but hardly an all-weather home. The tree will absorb any moisture. Right now, free-roaming wildcats are so happy that a big mega storm crushed two on top of one of them.
