Review on Doubleshot 3 Red & Black / Black Spring with Pins by Randy Washington

Limbo is not a place to live.

People are listening. Whether you're cruising around town or commuting and want to buckle up, that's great, but don't be fooled into thinking there's a hybrid option for mountain biking. I've been riding clipless for 20 years, but with the more technical singletrack I built I wanted it to be versatile and smooth to ride. It's great in theory, terrible in reality. It's like being stuck in limbo forever, and in mountain biking the plates are very narrow so even on the flat side you can't quite match the grip you have on a true flat pedal. After using these pedals for a few months I decided to ditch clip-ons and go straight to flats and I wish I had done so much, much, much sooner. I think it's all about what you want to do. Still a solid product and note that the screws are indeed adjustable. Pull them all the way out for more grip and then 5 full turns for maximum grip.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • There are problems
