Difficult to snap into place quickly when trail riding.

Good quality. They work great offpiste on smooth surfaces. On the track it is difficult to hook them on jumps. Difficult to align clips on the go. I have Crank Brothers Candy pedals on another bike. They work great on the track.

Great product suitable for cycling

I've been using the Doubleshot 2 for over 2 months now, then I crashed 3 times and at first I hated it. Then I decided to try Double Shot 3 and they were amazing. I now use Doubleshot 2 on my road bike and Doubleshot 3 on my mountain bike. The Cranky brothers rule! Just give them a chance.

Perfect for what I do

I have raced cross country throughout high school and still race enduro. Now I coach the XC team. They are not ideal for racing. It will be difficult to find the side without clips when trying to snap them. I now have them mounted on my cross country bike as I no longer ride XC. When playing at home, I prefer flats. When training or trailing, I prefer to use clips. With these pedals I get the best of both worlds. These pedals are also durable and look very nice.

Awesome pedals for every ride

Oh my god I had DoubleShot 2s on my mountain bike and loved them. When I wanted to update Warbird, I wanted to buy the same thing. But the 3s were on sale, so I said yeah, let's do it. These pedals day and night are as good as anything I've had on a bike before. I'm not very comfortable slipping out of the brackets on uneven, odd surfaces. But to be honest, when you ride without clips, they don't shift or move at all. I drove 10 miles in sandals and felt like I was glued to magnets. Amazing…

A definite improvement over the second generation.

This is a definite improvement over the Double Shot 2. In my previous review of the Double Shot 2, I mentioned that the flat side is very slippery and the locking mechanism is very difficult to unlock, making it dangerous to use Driver. Crank Brothers seemed to have heard their customers' complaints. They fixed all the issues that didn't suit me. Having adjustable pins for better shoe grip is a great idea that works really well. It also releases the clip much more easily while still providing a

Limbo is not a place to live.

People are listening. Whether you're cruising around town or commuting and want to buckle up, that's great, but don't be fooled into thinking there's a hybrid option for mountain biking. I've been riding clipless for 20 years, but with the more technical singletrack I built I wanted it to be versatile and smooth to ride. It's great in theory, terrible in reality. It's like being stuck in limbo forever, and in mountain biking the plates are very narrow so even on the flat side you can't quite…

Excellent option for clips and flats

I'm not a pro or an expert, I just started MTB last year. However, I wanted to buy pedals with more grip, but didn't want to buy twice if I ever decide to go without clips. So I bought these Doubleshot 3 pedals. I have to say it takes a while to get used to. Especially when your foot comes off the pedal. You can step on the wrong side until you figure it out when your foot comes off. I ride them cross country so my foot sometimes comes off the flat side when going down rocky terrain. I've found

Pretty cool. suitable for cycling

Absolutely amazing pedals. I'm new to mountain biking (I was mountain biking before I was 14 and now I'm starting again at 31) so please take my review with a grain of salt from someone who doesn't know much about the technicalities of the fitment. . or mountain bike. but then again it gives me the edge of an open mind. I was apprehensive about riding without clips but was very happy to find these pedals. There are cheaper brands out there but I've read horror stories about them so I figured…
