I love my new frying pan. I always use the 10" Lodge Egg and Pancake Pan for my family. But now that I have four children to support, I realize I need to move on to something higher. I've tried buying one of the large rectangular pans that run on two burners on the stove, but I've never managed to heat them evenly. This pan is perfect. I can cook up to six scrambled eggs at once! It heats up much more evenly than a large double burner pan. Some people complain about its rough surface. That may be partially true, but once it's seasoned, it doesn't matter. All pans made in recent years have such a rough texture. Only pans passed down from generation to generation have such a glossy, smooth texture. If you ever get your hands on one of these, hold on tight!
