A while ago some spots in the living room were filled and we waited for the "right time” to do this, as so much white fine dust is produced Sanding . putty created. Putty dust gets on everything and we knew we had to coat everything or move it to another room before we got to work. These sponges are awesome; Wetting them and squeezing out most of the water before getting down to business really reduced the amount of dust to almost zero! If they're all "noticeable," simply rinse and use again. Very durable, I like that they come in different varieties. These sponges saved us a lot of time. A very practical product.
