Unfortunately it does not work well with the latest large screen GPS navigators with rear outlets. In order to create space for power cables or a Garmin 90° power cable mount, my Garmin nüvi 3597LM had to be pulled out a bit, which made it wobble in the universal mount on the air vent. This leads to unstable mounting and visibility at high speeds - the slightest bump on the highway and everything falls to the ground, as happened to me twice. I ended up giving it to my mom as an iPhone car mount and bought Garmin's custom Garmin Air Vent Mount instead.
