Review on 🚚 Lund 76134T 21-Inch Aluminum Trailer Tongue Truck Box: Diamond Plated Black Storage Solution by Robert Gomatham

This box is a great price and definitely worth the money but it's far from perfect. First, it doesn't come with mounting hardware, as many have mentioned. I bought some self tapping screws and they seemed to work great to hold them in place, but after the first ride with them one of the screws came loose. Twisting the trailer frame wasn't a problem, and plain, low-quality Home Depot screws didn't do the job. I had to drill them out and replace them with grade 8 bolts from the tractor kit. Everything has been fine so far, but it was a lot more work than I had hoped. Another problem I've encountered is leakage. The latch is mounted on a slotted plate, allowing you to adjust how tight or loose the lid closes. Unfortunately, even with the lock fully set, it wasn't tight enough. I had to use my dremel and cut the slot higher to get the pin higher so it would close tight enough on the rubber grommet to keep water out. Overall I'm happy with this purchase, but it required a lot more. the job I had hoped for.
