I would give 5 stars to my original backpack I bought 3 years ago as it has withstood 3 years of heavy use, perfect size and cute but I ordered it again after one of the straps snapped (used a lot so I wasn't even mad) but this new one I bought clearly uses cheaper materials. The old one looks like a smooth quality fabric and felt silky and soft, the inside is the same. Feels like really good quality. The new one I just bought has a "hoarser" sound and seems a lot cheaper, although it's more waterproof, although I've never had water issues with the latter. The old one might be bent and twisted and not make a sound, but the new one sounds like an old bag of noisy sun chips. 3 stars because it looks the same but obviously uses cheaper materials. Shame. Hopefully the others will last as long as the old ones.
