Great bike hangers esp if you have a tall garage
I attached a 48" 2x6 crosswise to the garage ceiling joists with LONG screws in the middle of the joists and then hung 4 bikes with 4 of these rakes- Kits about 12" apart on . One is about 8 inches from the wall. Bikes wobble a bit when going up and down but I like the layout. They can move 18 inches apart and have plenty of room. These screws are perfect for attaching 2x6 to racks: FastenMaster FMHLGM412 -50 HeadLOK Heavy Duty Pan Head Fastener, 4-1/2", 50 pcs.
