Review on Kodiak Controls KC25 5 Pressure Gauge by Aaron Parish

Kodiak gauges are accurate and well built. I screwed on a standard 1/4" air hose chuck for Schrader valves (car tire valves) and had a precision gauge for my low pressure connection application. The best accuracy is achieved when the target pressure is in the medium to high range. Gauge range. My target pressure was 2, 75 psi. in. so I chose this gauge to read from 0 to 5 psi. In vehicles select a reading from 0 to 60 psi. pressed against the valve. This is a common thing in a mechanic's shop. The air hose is connects to their air compressor and only lets air through when the tire valve is depressed. I wouldn't use that for this application. After reading the pressure, the cartridge does not relieve the pressure gauge after removing it from the tire valve. For example, I have for a Milton 699 1/4" pneumatic female chuck (available from Revain) was chosen for this application. I avoided the Milton S699 version.
