When dealing with auto parts, I consider several factors: How long does R&R take? How important is the role? From there I weigh the cost and the quality. For example, struts work very hard even on smooth roads and require a lot of hard work to replace. So I'm willing to pay more for quality and a product that works well and lasts a long time. This part is VERY EASY to replace, takes a maximum of an hour and requires a jack and wrench. So it makes sense for me to spend less and sacrifice quality. The price is about 1/3 lower than the original quality part due to the online competition. The first test drive showed no problems. I don't expect it to last as long as a factory installed part (11 years and 170k) but since it's so complicated to fit it's fine.
