Warning: Color will reappear on exposure to light

DO NOT USE IF YOUR PAINTINGS WILL BE EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT. I used Miskit because I made precise shapes with watercolors. I always made sure to remove the frisket within 24 hours because I didn't want the orange color to smudge my paper. Everything went well, the edges of my watercolors were clean and the friskets were easy to remove. BUT in the last 6-7 months when the paintings were exposed to the light the orange dye reappeared. They are not exposed to direct sunlight - the light is filtered through shades, but this dye obviously reacts to ultraviolet rays, otherwise this would not have happened. As there is no way to control how the work will appear after sale, I cannot recommend using the product. with such an unstable dye.

Pros
  • For use on fixed size watercolor paper, photos and other media
Cons
  • Very expensive
