Don't be fooled by the large database of remote control manufacturers, because what they give you will not exactly match your remote control. You can change the button names, which was nice, but he just didn't learn some functions. Like most of these items, this is not a universal remote in my opinion. You have to keep going back to your remotes to change channels, adjust volume, select from streaming, etc. I found it more frustrating to use than a traditional remote. The BroadLink app's GUI is ridiculously simplistic and poorly designed. For example, a lot of wasted space, volume controls that don't slide or provide feedback on volume. Very frustrating. Not what I wanted to achieve.
