I have bought two travel routers and am very impressed with their capabilities. The two use cases I recommend are: 1. A Wi-Fi network for your hotel room. I travel a lot and am frustrated with the poor Wi-Fi signal I get in many rooms - I rarely get a good signal. This travel router connects to the wired internet in my room and then allows me to connect my iPhone, iPad and computer wirelessly. All with a strong signal! Also, I don't have to argue with the front desk staff at the checkout when they try to charge for three connections instead of one.2. Wi-Fi network for your office. My office building has Wi-Fi, but it has very poor coverage in my Cube. I can switch to 3G on my iPhone (but it's a bit slow) and I have a cheaper iPad with no cellular service. This travel router has allowed me to create my own little WiFi network for my Cube, it's awesome! A few quick notes for people who bought the product: * Use "AP mode" if you want to connect multiple devices wirelessly * Set it up at home before going to a hotel - just don't panic * Don't throw away the CD - it contains "Access Point Mode" instructions that you need to set up* Installation is very easy if you follow the instructions in the manual in clear English with good illustrations* The Access Point mode allows you to set a network password, but I don't think you can hide your network (make it untraceable); it was sure enough for me! * I wasn't expecting to like the carrying case it came in but it's pretty good quality and perfect to keep in your suitcase * The price is amazing, really amazing!
