Buy them one size bigger!
I bought a size 9 pair for my husband and they were too small for him. I ordered a size up and they fit perfectly. I'm a size 9 for my son and they barely fit him. My son is a size 8, they are so small that the top of the hood goes to the bottom of the shoe. Both said they felt comfortable in it. Just make sure you buy one size bigger.
