I work remotely and often work in a coffee shop or similar place. Without a doubt, this is the best solution to get more screen real estate on my laptop. The screen is simply powered (and transmits data) via USB-C, so it's just one cable. Since my old laptop doesn't have USB-C, I have to use two cables alternatively - HDMI for data and USB, which can deliver power. The product comes with all the necessary cables and even a power adapter. I've found that I need a power supply when working with my Raspberry Pi 3 because the Pi doesn't provide enough power to power the screen off its USB ports, which is just a shortcoming of the Pi. The screen works with any setting, the only difference is one or two cables. Great product, it seems durable and easy to carry in a laptop bag along with other things.
