My mother bought this rice cooker for my sister 5 years ago. She called him Ken. Ken was wonderful and took care of my sister so well that my mom bought me the same rice cooker. His name is Ken 2. I have had Ken 2 for four years now and he provided me with rice during and after college. The Ken 2 is still my only rice cooker and I use it almost every day. Recently, my mom bought my brother the same rice cooker as a college gift. His name is Ken 3. Like Ken 1 and Ken 2, Ken 3 provides my brother with fresh rice easily and reliably. We love our Ken. My other sister bought another college rice cooker, an Aroma Housewares cool-touch digital rice cooker, and a stainless steel food steamer. It had no name. He loved setting things on fire. We gave my sister another chance. She bought an Insta pot. We cropped it out of our family photos. On our Christmas card, we rejoiced with our Kens in front of the fireplace with a misshapen hole in the middle. If you care about your child going to college, buy them a Ken. This rice cooker is for life.
