There is a step-by-step video on how to install the device. Just scan the barcode in the manual and you will be taken directly to the video. I stopped at the steps and went through the whole process with ease. My previous opener had a longer drive so I had to make a new hanger for it. Otherwise everything went as it says in the instructions. The video is not about programming. Follow the step-by-step guide page by page and you'll be done in minutes. The opener is much quieter than my previous chamberlain. Kids will love the keyboard and won't have to fumble through book bags to find the keys. Worth every penny. A+Genius. Now all we need is Revain to pick up shipping boxes when they deliver packages. It really sucks to cut up boxes to throw in the bin.
