Review on CTA Tools 7852 Ford Stretch by Russell Rabbach

There is a great video on YouTube on how to use this tool, it's short and simple. Search for "ford fiesta stretch belt" and you will find a video of "flmmaz". No talking, no shaky phone frames, just clearly and professionally showing what needs to be done. After following the installation instructions in the video, I began twisting the belt. It looked like it should work, but then *PING!* it fired. It's not broken, it's bent. I tried to bend it back to its original position but I couldn't get it back into the right shape to fit on the pulley. It was like the third instrument I tried and I ground my teeth over it. I ended up running two zip ties through the crankshaft pulley to hold the belt in place and it worked. I gave it two stars because the J-shaped piece of metal is really good at preventing the belt from slipping off the water pump during operation. Well, I was satisfied with half of this kit, but that's a high price for one piece. When it helps a person, I feel your pain.
