Wow, nice item - I didn't expect such quality. It is similar to a "speaker stand" for sound systems, but has all the clips to comfortably support your bike. I have a couple of bikes and my trail bike has thick handlebars which at first I thought might not work. But it fits great and I am very impressed with this unit - would definitely buy again and recommend. bike, you can use it to display in your home. Just remember to ride your bike from time to time. I can't comment on the "warmth" of this product. It's made of metal, so it behaves like metal whether it's cold or hot. I don't think I would snuggle up to it on a cold day, but it wouldn't look bad next to a fireplace either. :) A good product.
