I wanted to have an off the compressor regulator for my HVLP sprayer and this looked like the best option. While this item has a little bigger footprint than I would prefer to have attached to my gun it works well. I fixed my conundrum by simply moving the regulator from the gun base back down the line closer to the compressor and that takes away the awkwardness of trying to pattern spray with this product making it all unbalanced. I have no regrets or complaints thus far and am satisfied that it fulfilled my need to filter/regulate.
