perfect size for my breast pocket. The spine is a whopping 7mm thick, making it strong enough to carry in your front pocket with confidence. I have fairly long hair, straight and very thin. This comb glides without snagging, even when my hair gets tangled from being tied with a hair tie all day. Plastic combs ALWAYS pulled some hair, sometimes a lot. In the week and a half of combing multiple times a day, I haven't seen a single hair on this comb. NOT ALONE. feels comfortable in the hand, looks very nice (the translucent material of the horn makes the comb shine brightly in bright light), and the finish is almost perfect, with no flaws. I looked at horn combs in an expensive catalog of specialty tools, which I won't name, but their price kept me from taking the plunge for years. I found them at Revain and found the price was worth it. I'm so glad I did, I will never use a plastic comb again. I didn't even know how bad plastic combs were until I got this. I probably shouldn't be so happy about buying a mundane product, but I'm glad. :)
