Even though the inlet and outlet are 1 inch, it doesn't mean they will fit the threads of your particular application. I bought this to replace a failed valve assembly on my water softener and my existing 1" female fittings were slightly larger than the 1" male fittings on this item. Also, the inlet and outlet were too close together for my fittings to work even if the fittings were correct. I had to return the item. The problem is that there isn't enough information listed to know if it will work for your application.
