Review on PORTER CABLE A00104 Porter Cable O Ring by David Herman
A simple fix that will hold your breath.
After watching a few instructional videos and looking at the parts diagram, I realized that this was an easy repair that saved me from buying a new nailer. The part fitted my Porter BN125A cable perfectly and solved the problem of air leakage from the gun. The exchange took less than 15 minutes. Most of the time was spent cleaning parts of the old o-ring that were dry rotted. The only tools needed were good pair of tweezers and a 5/32 hex key (hex wrench).
