I really like these hooks. The soft handle makes these old hands easy to hold and use. The hooks are well made and polished so your thread slides smoothly through the hook and won't snap the thread. The different sizes give you so many options. So if your work involves using a larger hook in your initial chain and then needing to move on to a smaller hook, having the next size up or down from the same brand really helps. I forgot, not to mention the extra length between hook and handle, for extra thread movement. This was very important to me because sometimes I knit very tightly and this extra hook space gives me more room to move the yarn for looser stitches, which makes my work look more natural and flowy than tight.
