The VIN is not scanned for every car, but there is an option to enter the VIN manually or select a vehicle from a list. It is very convenient to quickly find and solve the car problem and even show you the problems your car may have without showing the warning lights on the dashboard. I have updates for the next 2 years. for all car models, and if you ever need to factory reset your tablet or replace it with any Android tablet, just go to the website and enter your account and password that will be created during installation and load down everything again.
