This is clearly a Fake Raceface Chesters, but that's bad if you doubt it. They're cheap, work great, and are insanely grippy. Even before my shoes started slipping on my crappy WTB pedals if I didn't put them in the right spot, when I started using these pedals I realized you need to consciously think about moving your feet because they grab your shoes like that. OK. The good thing is that they come with a few extra pins in case you need to replace them over time. Loved mine so much, bought another set for my wife's bike and she loves them too. Have run them 12-15 miles on easy to moderate trails and they have held up great so far, only time will tell. runtime, but I don't see anything that gives me anything other than confidence that they will last.
